About Danean
Danean Gallaher, founder and principal of The Style Match, is a professional Image Consultant who uses her innate sense of style, her experience as an educator, and her passion for people to help her clients look and feel their best.
A native of Southern California and graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Danean spent her early career as a Home Economics Teacher, focusing on textile and clothing construction. She transitioned her teaching and people skills into the field of Human Resources, where she worked as a Specialist for 10 years. Later, as a stay-at-home mom, she started her own business in the cosmetics industry.
After being sought out by friends to help them find "just the right outfit" for a special event or the perfect "look" for an interview, Danean decided to become a trained professional image educator. She then went on to create The Style Match to put her interests and gifts to work full-time. Keys to her approach with clients are her creativity, her sense of humor, and her desire to bring harmony between the person on the inside and the look on the outside, which is the definition of personal image.
Danean, a long-term member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI), served six years on the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter's Board of Directors and held the position of Chapter President, as well as other leadership roles.
